Expert in Water Quality Measurement and Water Treatment Project Since 2007
Product Overview
- BOQU PH5806/VP “Aquarium pH Sensor” is a high-temperature, hygienic pH electrode developed and manufactured by Shanghai Boqu Instrument. It is designed for precision pH measurement across 0.0–14.0 pH (±0.1 pH), supports up to 130°C and 6 bar, and is available with PT1000 temperature compensation and VP cable connections. Although named for aquarium use, the sensor is optimized for industrial aseptic and high?temperature processes.
Product Features
- Hygienic, sanitary design with FDA-compliant materials suitable for CIP (clean?in?place) and SIP (sterilize?in?place).
- Heat?resistant gel dielectric and solid dielectric double liquid?junction construction for stability during fast media transitions.
- Options for liquid, gel or polymer reference solutions to balance accuracy and service life.
- High?pressure design for direct installation in tanks and reactors; available in multiple probe lengths (12 mm diameter, 120/150/225/325 mm).
Product Value
- Provides continuous, maintenance?friendly pH monitoring under demanding thermal and pressure conditions so processes remain compliant and uninterrupted.
- Supports regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical, biotech and food/beverage production by delivering repeatable, sterile?compatible measurements.
- Offers a cost?effective, durable alternative to premium brand electrodes while maintaining laboratory?grade performance.
Product Advantages
- Independently developed with proprietary IP and backed by Boqu’s dedicated high?temperature laboratory capabilities.
- Robust performance at up to 130°C and compatibility with back?pressure environments (up to 6 bar) for in?situ sterilization.
- Low maintenance needs and interchangeable design that can be replaced by similar electrodes from other manufacturers (e.g., Mettler Toledo/Hamilton replacements).
- Built for long life and accurate readings even during rapid media changes.
Application Scenarios
- Aseptic and high?temperature industrial processes: fermentation tanks, bioreactors, pharmaceutical and biotech production lines.
- Food and beverage processing, starch paste production, and other sanitary process control requiring CIP/SIP.
- Tank and reactor installations where high temperature and pressure resistance are required.
- General water quality monitoring contexts (including aquaria/aquaculture) that can benefit from a rugged, low?maintenance pH sensor.
